KISSING ROCK BEACH WALK #1

The sun peeks though the clouds to light up the beach on a cloudy day while walking towards Kissing Rock, just south of the town of Gold Beach, Oregon.

A storm the day before produced waves up to 30 feet that washed over the beach, creating some very dramatic patterns and exposing rocks that had been buried under the sand.

All of the paintings included in this Exhibit are based on photos taken during that beach walk.

I had on rubber waders which allowed me to stand in the waves while walking toward Kissing Rock.
